Hey friends! I was recently sent the Insink 4-1 to test out and review. The Insink was created by stay at home dad, Tonis. He developed the Insink after realizing how much work and time goes into running a household. The Insink was created in order to help you be more efficient, work smarter, save time and water, and improve your overall everyday routine.
It’s a multi use product. There are 4 main components to the Insink (hence the name 😜). Included is a Katcher, Kaddy, Kup, and a scrubbing brush as well as a couple suction bars which help hold the Kaddy and Kup upright in your sink. When you first unbox your Insink, you’ll notice that each piece is nested inside each other. That’s a win for those that are already lacking storage space!!
One of the first things I noticed about the product was the quality. It’s made out of a nice sturdy plastic and you can tell a lot of thought and purpose went into the creation of the Insink.
You’ll want to start by thoroughly washing everything with soap and water. Make sure the wall of your sink is clean and dry where you are wanting to stick the suction cups. Your suction cups could start slipping if moisture or dirt have gotten behind the bar. It’s also important to note here that the suction bars need a smooth surface in order to stick so if you have brushed stainless or silgrante (pebbled sink) then this product won’t work too well if you’re planning to use it in the sink.
It’s also important to note the size of your sink! Your sink will need to be at least 6.5 inches deep. Ours is actually that exact depth so the Insink fits in it perfectly.
There are countless ways this can be used, and you can probably come up with some creative ways to use it too! The main thing I have used it for so far has been for doing dishes. Since we live in an RV we don’t have a dishwasher. Saving water can be crucial for us especially when we don’t have a sewer hookup. To keep from filling up the grey tank too quickly you can fill up the Kup with warm soap and water so you don’t have to fill up your entire sink. Since we are a two person household, it doesn’t make sense to use that much water when trying to do just a few dishes. I’ve found it’s so much easier and efficient to fill up the Kup and clean as I work.
Another use, is using the Kaddy as a colander. It has several holes in the bottom and it’s the perfect size for washing a couple servings of fruit or veggies. If you don’t have too many dishes to wash the Kaddy also makes a great utensil drying rack. You can also stick the Katcher on top and scrape scrap food into it so it’s not going down your drain. It’s also perfect for when you’re meal prepping. If you’re chopping up veggies, simply scrape the pieces that get thrown out into the Katcher to keep your space clean and so you have more room to work. This keeps you from constantly having to make a trip to the trash can.
A cool feature of the Katcher is that you can actually take it off the Kup or Kaddy flip it over and it serves as a stand for the Kup and Kaddy. This allows you to bring either the Kup or Kaddy out of the sink and use it elsewhere. You can bring it over to your stovetop and clean your stove or oven with the soapy water and the scrubbing brush.
This tool serves so many different functions and when you live in a small space, it’s always a bonus when you can buy one product to serve several different needs. This product is not just for RVers though, it could be for someone who lives in a tiny home or small apartment, or maybe you’re just looking to cut back your water usage or be more efficient in the kitchen. The Insink is so helpful for so many different reasons for so many different types of people.

Wow, what a neat product! This would definitely come in handy for RVers ??
Definitely!!! Especially for people who like to boondock like you ??
It looks like it’s a super useful product! Every time we boondock we try to safe as much as we can. Insink can solve a lot of issues for us.?
Yes definitely!!! We don’t boondock too often but on several occasions we’ve only had electric and water (no sewer) so not filling up our tank too quickly is important for us ?
This is super cool and very handy! Awesome review!! ? We usually boondock a lot and use kitchen tubs for our water or a jug to catch water to help save our tanks. ?
Super handy for sure!! Using a tub in the sink to catch water is a smart idea! I’ll have to remember that next time we don’t have hookups ?
